I though that I will be able to get all the 3 modules that I've bidded. Never have guess that I'll be out-bidded in the course MA1101R, Linear Algebra I by over a hundred points plus! I bidded for it for 105 points, but the successful bid point was 235! WTF! I mean I've placed so high a bid on it already! The next round, there isn't any place for new students for this course. Damn it. This means I will have to replan my schedule and modules that I want to take. Perhaps I can take a look at what other level 1 course I'll need to get the higher level statistics courses.
Haiz..In a bad mood now. And my muscle aches due to playing ball last night. Last night balling nearly killed me. Maybe too long never move about. Played with the pros. Woa.. Nearly die.. Haha~ My heart was beating real fast and I thought I would die. And keep banging into people. Elbowed one of them somemore! And I think quite painful. But he still apologised to me! LOL. Anyway, JinYeow asked me to play ball again on Sunday. Guess should be okay. Sort of last time before I start school. Damnit. Still can't believe that I didn't get the module. Hai.. 6 places available next round. But I bidding for my electives first. Haizz..

Last night, I have been doing real detailed research on the modules that I wished to take. And I'm still deciding over Life Science and Statistics. This afternoon, I finally made up my mind to do Statistics as major. Though the modules seemed deadly, I still want to give it a go. I guess no modules are easy to begin with. It depends how much hard work you put in to study.
Today when I logged on to the CORS system and started my bidding, I realised that I can't bid for LSM1102, molecular genentics when I declared Statistics as my major! Damn! And the CORS webpage still mentions that it is for Statistics Major and Life Science Minor/Major. Damn. I got to change my module selection. And after much consideration, I've chosen Introduction to Statistics,ST1131, Linear Algebra,MA1101R and Problem Solving and Computation,CZ1102. The last 2 are killers! Goddamnit. I got to work doubly hard especially since I think I'll sucks at computing. No choice, it's an essential for Statistics. However, I think after this module, the rest might be easier. Since, I'll really prefer Maths than Computing.
Anyway, I still got 2more modules spaces available. And since I've taken 2 deadly modules together, which I initially have no hope to do so, I'll take 2 easier modules. I was thinking of forensic science. However, I doubt I'll have enough points to compete with the rest in this hot module. Since the average point to get this module is like 200+ bid points. My next choice is Legal Environment of Business(BSP1004). It seemed to me an interesting module and I really wished to venture into this area in the future. That is why I took Statistics. And the reviews for this module were not too bad. Mostly say it's interesting. But nonetheless, another hot module. My last consideration is Managerial Economics(BSP1005). Reviews for this said that it is easy to score if you are good in Economics(which I definitely am!) and despite Economics background, you might not be able to gain advantage since the topics are generally easy to understand and grasp. Hmm.. Seems like an easy module to study and grapple. If I'm unable to get BSP1004, this is another choice for me.
Anyway, I just realised the bidding system is nuts! Okay, for the module Introduction to Statistics, it's still okay. Highest bid point was 200, lowest 1. I put 1 since there are still vacancies. Linear Algebra is the nuts module. Highest bid point was 597 while lowest was 1. Minimum to bid for it is 2bid points. I put 35 in case and also because all the vacancies are filled up and there are still people vying for the spaces. Hmmm.. I remember reading on a website that it says if there are alot of people getting the module, it indicates that it is an easy module or interesting module. But, it can also mean that alot of people are taking Statistics and since this is an essential, people would want to get it! Eh, but it can also mean alot of people are taking Mathematics as major since this is a Maths module, MA1101R, and also essential for Maths major. Ok, anyway, the last is Problem Solving and Computation. This is also okay. The highest bid point was 150 and lowest 1. I put 1 as well since there are still vacancies.
Tonight I shall log in again to check out the status. Might have to increase my bid point since most of the modules are nearly filled up, or have already filled up.

Today, just like any other day, is a super sian, stay-at-home day. Watch Kekkaishi manga online at mangafox until around 6pm. Really tired and straining to stare at the laptop for so long. Hence, decided to read through A Maths material to prepare myself. Initially, today was supposed to meet Ms Tay and the rest of the PE department teachers for lunch. However, Mr Lee said that it's not really convenient today since Ms Tay was on MC today and I guess the teachers all have something on too.
Anyways, read through the A Maths guide cum TYS. But feel very sian still. Actually, while reading this blog, you can already imagine the state of boredom I'm in, right? Initially wanted to post a 'My Books' entry. However, realised that I didn't have my whole series of books with me. Lent some to my friends and cousin.
Oh, i did some checking up on statistics modules again. Ya, I know it is real boring. However, I browse through the websites and still full of query! And bidding starts in 2days time! I found out that Jolyn is also going to FOS! That's great! And she's taking Life Science!
Anyway, I keep wondering whether I should really take up Statistics. Is it really my cup of tea. Am I really able to score and do well in it, which is the most important. I know that I can definitely do well in Life Science or Chemistry. I personally feels that memorising type of work is for me. However, for statistics, I've read some of the modules that I'm required to take. They include vectors, computing etc. It's not only focus on probability, hypothesis testing, but also on computing stuff, which I think I really sucks at!
Ok, I guess I should be able to manage them if I put more effort into studying. I guess the most important thing is hardwork! Although if I take life science, I'll have more people to study with and get help from since most of my friends are taking life science. But, nonetheless, I can always approach the professors if I really need help, right?
Set! Make up my mind to do statistics and applied probability! Will have to work harder to understand all the parts that I'm not familiar with!

Today is the day when I'll finally matriculate and obtain my matriculation card. Initially wanted to wake up and get ready at 10am. But was feeling very tired. So decided to sleep till 11am. But still feel very tired. Wanted to wake up at 12noon instead. But suddenly remember I got to bathe and prepare stuff etc to go NUS too! So woke up at 11.40am, took a bath and brought all the important documents with me.
Ate curry chicken mee at the hawker downstairs. Finally have my curry...noodles. Though I'll really prefer curry rice. Boarded the MRT to Buona Vista. Wow.. It's really a loong journey. Wanted to sleep on the train but really can't get to the sleepy mood. Reached Buona Vista at 1.15pm. There's alot of NUS students doing survey. It's Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ Campus. I got approached by one of the student. Since it's just a 3 questions survey, I might as well do her a good favour by taking it. So the person looked at me as I ticked the option 'No' under the category of whether I'm interested in joining them and getting to know their seniors etc, right in her face! Lol. But don't really feel guilty. Anyways, I doubt that there's this possibility that I'll meet her in school. Haha. Oh that's not the point. It's more of the fact that I'm a non-christian and not really interested in it. Neither do I wish to be preached at should I join their activities. Oh and she seemed shock when I say that I might be majoring in statistics. I guess maybe more people will choose Chemistry or Life Science rather than Statistics, that's why she's shock. Haha.
Waited for the stupid bus 95 for about 15-20minutes. Damn idiot bus. It's the only bus going to NUS yet the frequency is so bad. Kept cursing and finally the bus came at 1.35pm. But the bus stopped there for 5minutes before it drove off. Initially wanted to reach the registration centre at 1.30pm. However, reached there just 5minutes before 2pm instead. Moreover I got down at the wrong stop again! So just walked down to the Multi-Purpose Hall. Luckily just gotten down one stop earlier. There were already alot of people queueing up outside. No wonder it says that the registration process might take 45minutes. It's not the process that's slow but the waiting time is long. And while waiting, it seemed that alot of people, strangers, become friends. There's this girl infront of me, I still remember her name's Stella from SAJC, wanting to major in Chemistry. And she just made a new friend, also from FOS, who's name is Cheyna(I think that's the spelling). Initially I thought she says she's from China! But after awhile I realised that's her name! So unique! Haha. And she really looked like she's from China anyways. I've also noticed that at the same time while the undergraduates are registering, the graduates are also filing for their graduation! That's so cool! So, 4years(not 3, I wanted an Honours degree! I'll study hard for it I swear!) from now, I'll be one of them, standing there and getting my qualifications and portfolio! Then I'll also be looking back to the time when I first matriculate etc etc.
Anyway, I've finally gotten my matric and ez-link card and left the Registration Centre at 2.40pm. The cards looked kinda cool. They even gave a thermometer together with the matric card. LOLS. And by the time I left NUS, I've already gotten alot of barang barang given by the student helpers there and also during the matriculation.
This is my new ez-link card. Super cool-looking right?(Nicole and HuiYi say very weird! WALAO! Very shuai ok!) Haha. It's orange! NUS color! Oh and there's this NUS logo there too! Wonder how NTU one will look like. Guess I'll take a look at my bother's once he gotten his. This is my matriculation card. It's needed to gain access to some of the buildings in NUS and also use for booking of facilities and also loaning of books in the library etc.Oh and they've also given us a lanyard lest we lost the matric card. This will ensure that the card will be at our side at all times while in the school.
After collecting the card, went over to Orchard to meet Nicole, HuiYi and Felicia to do some shopping. By the time I got there, they've left Wisma Atria. Going over to Far East Plaza. So while waiting for them, I decided to activate my student ez-link card. However, they say I will not be able to activate the card without topping up. But I don't have cash with me and they don't accept NETS! What a bumper. Zzz. So went over to meet up with Nicole and the rest first. Shopped around at Far East but didn't see anything suitable to buy. So we boarded 105 to Clementi first since Nicole wanted to go home to put down her newly bought shiny shoes. After which she's meeting her sisters. As for us, we're going to Jurong Point to shop. This will be the place where Felicia and HuiYi will hang out very very often for the next 4years. As for me, well, I still got alot of places to go to. Not necessarily Jurong Point although this is also one of the option. But I still can hang out at Holland V or travel to Town etc.
While waiting at the bus-stop, we were all exhausted from the walking, though I think we didn't walk alot, so we sat down. And we took some photos. As there are 4 of us, it's quite a challenge to get everyone's faces into the camera. This one was taken by me and as you can see, it looked well-taken but in actual fact, Felicia was not in the picture! A failure!Okay, Nicole took this one. But still fail! HuiYi's and Felicia's faces are cut away! Finally! We managed to get everyone's faces into the picture and just nice, the bus has arrived.
We boarded the bus. The ride was very bumpy and it gave me headache. Was glad to finally reach Clementi MRT station and bidded Nicole farewell there. Saw that there is a ticket office there. So wanted to top up and activate my card. Paid a $50 note but the counter assistant said that she did not have any change for it. Oh damn. It seemed like I don't have any affinity in activating my card today. However, I'm really determined to have that damn card activated. Borrowed $10 from HuiYi. And we boarded the train to Jurong Point. Looked around several shops and found the Levis' Strauss that HuiYi talked about. We shopped in several other shops as HuiYi wanted to get a jeans and top. I noticed that the Levis' tops are not bad looking. And it's 2 for $29.90 which is a good bargain I think. However, we decided to look around more. After that, Nicole said that if she's coming back to meet us she'll message us. However, we sort of manage to guess Nicole would most definitely be sleeping and too lazy to come out again(and we're spot on). Ate at Delifrance after that(well, only i'm eating. HuiYi and Felicia do not want to eat as they're still quite full).
After that we went to Popular to look for the laptop air-cooler for HuiYi's laptop and I also wanted to look around at the books available. I noticed that there are more non-fiction books here than other Popular bookstores. In the end bought a book titled: History of Modern China, The Rise and Fall of a Great Power 1850-2009. It looked like an interesting non-fiction book. Although I still got several books I've yet to finish reading right now, but I still bought this book. It's not cheap though. It costs, after Popular discount, $30.77. Okay, if I let people know that I'm reading this book, they'll be asking why and it seemed like so historical. However, I think perhaps I'm really bored and I realised that despite studying for 2full years of General Paper, I still lacked lots of general knowledge on history, facts, lifestyle, financial etc. So, I have no wish to remain unknowlegable even after I entered university. And it gives me a sense of fulfilment. Like I've achieved something- which is I've gained some knowledge. And that is a good thing. So I guess this is a worthwhile investment. And I was also thinking about how long it'll take to finish this book as it's quite thick and given that I still got several unfinished books to read, I think it'll be quite awhile before I unwrap this book and start reading it.
Currently, I got InkSpell, which I'm left with a few more pages to read, Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger, author of The Devil Wears Prada and I've just started reading this, The Crash of 2008 and What It Means by George Soros which I've also just started reading and The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella, borrowed from HuiYi and Market Panic: Wild Gyrations, Risks and Opportunities in Stock Markets by Stephen Vines, which my brother bought. Just realised that since the end of A'Levels, the number of books I've read equals or maybe exceeded the number of books I've read in my past 18years! Haha. Ok, that's abit exaggerating. But it's the highest record of number of english books that I've read(since I always read Chinese storybooks whenever I visited the library when I was young and hardly touched English books). Ok, I shall post another post about the books that I've read. Because this post is about me shopping! Haha.Okay, just to let you have a glimpse at the cover page of the book I just bought. Abit eh.. right? The little girl looks funny too. Like she's saying "OH~ CHINA~". Haha. But I think the contents should be not too bad. About the revolution times of China which is really interesting. What I currently have of knowledge about it is just the tip of iceberg. Hopefully after reading this, I'll have a greater in-depth about the real situation. Hope to find one about Hitler's life. Maybe next time when I visit Kinokuniya. Doubt Popular will have.
Anyway, HuiYi also bought one about airplanes since she's taking Aerospace Engineering. So in the end, we both did not buy anything that we initially wanted to buy. And this is one of the shortest time that I've hanged out in Popular bookstores. Normally, I'll hang out at a bookstores for very very long. Like I can stuck at Kinokuniya for 2-3hours just browsing books! At Popular, 1hour plus! Lol! HuiYi's legs were damn painful as the shoes she wore were abit uncomfortable. So we decided to cut short our shopping trip. We have not even went to the second storey yet! Just the basement and first storey. Nevertheless, we stopped by Levis' Strauss to get the shirt and I ended up buying the jeans, 2 for $99.90, shared with HuiYi. So at the end of the day, I've spent about $120 the whole day out! Okay, to break it down, $3 for the curry noodles, $10 for the activation of card, $5.90 for Delifrance student meal(which is very worth- a soft drink, main course and soup of the day. No time set. Just Monday-Friday. Oh and they gave a full basket of really HARD bread as a complimentary! HuiYi was amazed at how strong Frenchmen's teeth were after eating the bread), $30.77 for the book bought at Popular, $65.80 for the top and jeans bought at Levis'. And all these doesn't include transport fees which I think amounted to about $8 plus! Despite this, I still have this happy feeling. I think because I got new things. That's why I'm feeling happy. However, in a few days' time, I'll feel guilty that I'm spending 'future' money.
This is the top I bought. I liked the mixture of orange and black together(which you can't really see from the picture here). It's so cool, like NUS colour!(And like the RUNNUS'09 running tee!) Oh and if you can make out the letterings on the shirt, you would have noticed it is HUNK. Well, this is a guy's shirt. There's ladies shirt too. However, I don't really like the cutting being too short. The arm and width part of the shirt is ok. Just that I don't really like short shirt as I'll zao gen quite easily. Haha. And this is a S size but still quite big!
This is the FIRST Levis' jeans I've gotten. Abit long, for me -.- Got to alter the length abit. But it's really comfy. And I got this as a slim straight type. HuiYi gotten a skinny one. I tried the skinny type, don't really like the feeling of it being tight at my calf and the bottom part of my legs. So still prefered a straight cut.
By the way, I've noticed that the more I go out, the more things I'll add into my wish-list. Check up the updated wish-list at the left-hand side of About Me. Haizz.. It just gets longer and longer. And none of the wishes fulfiled yet!
When I got home, I made myself a cup of hot chocolate. Of course from the bottle of hot chocolate powder I bought the other time. The weather was cooling as it has been raining for the whole day. So just nice for a cup of hot chocolate after a bath! Anyway, got to start reading up some AE maths to recap my memory before Saturday, which is the first lesson of my tuition. And Nicole still asked whether we want to go clubbing on Friday night or not! She's a clubbing fanatic! LOL
Just realised that my cupboard-cum-bookshelf is going to be full. And I'm sure that I'll have more books coming in. Anyway, my dressing table(actually it doesn't look like a dressing table at all!) is abit old, in fact, very old, and it's time to change. Perhaps can get Mum to replace it with a dressing-cum-small-bookshelf table. So I can put stuff like wallet, earrings, all my accesories, while the below part I can store all my books. Hmm..Maybe it's a time to travel down to IKEA to take a look.
P.S. I just realised that this is the longest entry that I've posted so far. o.o

Very very early this morning(3am, actually is just before I went to bed), I logged onto the SSDC webpage to book the test date for my driving as I realised that I forgot to check it just now. However, goddamnit, I'm only left with the best timing of 11am! The 10.15am slots were all taken up! However, I don't wish to wait any further. And I believe that as long as my driving skills are up to it, it doesn't really matter what the time is. However, I woke up this morning, and to my dismay, there's a 10.15am slot! Grrr.. But I can't cancel the test already! Otherwise the fees are not refunded. Hiaz. Never mind. As I said, it's the skills that count. Oh, and since it's still quite far away(the date I shall not say. Like my brother said, it'll normally put more stress on yourself if you tells others about the date. And that's why my brother failed the first 2 times as he told us about it and pass the third time when he didn't tell anyone else except for Sheena), I set a reminder in my phone lest I forgot about it. And mind you, it's expensive!
Double checked all the documents that I need to get ready by tomorrow and have gotten them signed. After that, scan the RUNNUS consent form and email it. Also, printed out the Army Half Marathon receipt because I lost it. Need it to collect the race pack on 7 August.
After which, did some email checking and also checked up on my newly gotten tuition job. After dinner, called Susan to ask more about CORS. Got slightly some more information on it. However, still quite blur. Shall do more checking up on it after matriculation I guess.
Oh anyway, received a very interesting sms today. The content is as follows: Today is the day when SingTel, M1 and Starhub celebrate the mark of Singaporeans sending a total of 60 billions local messages. Forward this to 10 person and you will have $49 of outgoing calls free! After so, you may check you phone bill to verify. :) It's obviously a bluff! I mean imagine everyone sent this out to 10people they know and these 10people sent them out to another 10person they know. If this goes on, I think SingTel, Starhub and M1 will declare bankrupt tomorrow. And Susan's friend even called to ask whether this is true or not! The person say no. Haha~ Imagine the power of the word of 'mouth' which we'll have called it in the past. Or rather, this is the work of 'finger'. Lol. Anyway, I didn't send them out. It's a 2-page long sms and sending it to 10people means I would have sent 20sms. What a waste! However, it's interesting to know this 'power' is really great! I received the sms from 3 different person whom I know and have no direct connections to each other! I received it from Susan first, then from Brenda and lastly from KhuiBing. 3people who don't know each other at all! I think the person who initiated this message must be damn smug now. If I can receive this message from 3people with no connections, imagine how many people have already send this message and received it! Ho~ Anyway, it's really an interesting thing to know. Haha~

Eyes were damn bloody red when I woke up this morning. Guess was because I slept late last night. Going to Plaza Singapura later on. After bathing, received a call from Mac-a tuition agent. He asked me if I'm still free on weekends to take up Maths assignment. I told him of course. Since I wasn't able to find one assignment in the last 2weeks. He mentioned the mum of the previous assignment finally agreed to $26.50/hour. Acutally if it's still $25 I'll still accept. It's really super duper hard to find one good assignment that's near here. Especially around the North and Central areas. And I really don't mind earning $200/month. I guess it's sort of enough for my extra expenses since my dad had already given me some money for my expenses already.
Met Huiyi, Berlinda, Felicia and Wee Han and we walked to MINDS Cafe. Played several games. And really had lots of fun. I guessed the favourite game played was Dirty Mind. We're supposed to guess what the object, action or people is according to the clues given by the other person. And all the clues given will make you think of dirty things. Then we were reminded of a shop that sells really dirty games and horny stuff. Ber mentioned that there is one at Plaza Singapura as well, thus we decided to take a look later on. In addition, we also played other games like the truth or dare uno stacko, first hand and a game that is almost similar to mastermind.
We hanged out at MINDS until 6pm and left for Plaza Singapura to shop for pencil case and bags. HuiYi wanted to buy Levi's jeans and Crumpler. We shopped for awhile at Plaza Singapura to look for the 'dirty' shop that we mentioned. After which, we walked all the way to Paragon to look at the crumpler bags available. There's not really many nice designs and I don't find the newest design as nice as the previous one. After that, we went to shop at Wheelock and again at the crumpler shop. Ok it's abit lame I know. After which, we wanted to shop at the newly opened ION Orchard but were already tired, hence we went home. Anyway, me, Nicole and Huiyi will be meeting up and going for shopping on Monday. And I really need to go home to check up on the things to do and be completed before my Matriculation on Monday. The first game we played. We kept 'transferring' the monkey to other sticks. The 'dirty' game that we played.
At MINDS Cafe, before leaving.
Laughing at the man-made, unlightable, unblowable 'candle'!
Making a wish using the 'candle'.
Blowing at the 'candle'. Oh ya, FYI, bacause there's another table where they were also celebrating birthday. So we coiped them. Since we don't have candle, we just substitute it with this 'cool-looking' candle! LOLS
Ok, clearing away the 'candle'. LOLS!
The super cool curve escalator. Twisting on the twisting escalator!

Ok, Chen super random just now. Suddenly asked me go out with her after work. It's like so last minute! LOLS! But I super tired so told her that I'll take a nap first and how long will she take to reach J8(oh we decided to go J8. AMK Hub is like super sianz and Far East is really FAR!). Woke up at 5.40pm although I was supposed to wake up at 5.30pm and start preparing. Initially wanted to cancel the trip as I was really really tired. After the bath, felt so much more refresh. Chen called me 5times and I didn't pick up. Haha~ Nearly scare her to death, thought I was still sleeping. Met her at J8 at 6.30pm(she asked for 6.30pm). But she was late! Then I nearly kana targeted by 'bad' guy (actually he not that bad la. Just wanted me to upgrade my medisave to don't know what can help me cover 80% of my medical fees. But where got so easy tio accident!) Chen really hai me. I stuck with this guy for like 5minutes or so. That Chen says 4minutes then late! More than 4minutes! That's why I was targeted. But her call really save me just in time. Haha. So 'get rid' of that weird guy.
Ate at Mos burger. Chen suddenly very nice. Treat me the milk tea. Actually wanted treat me whole meal. But she only gave me $10. Haha~ Haiz it's okay la. Got treat can already. And I understand she doesn't really earn much after spending on all the facial and cosmetic stuff, clothes etc. Haha. She's almost like Val-a shopaholic! But at least Chen's working and spending but Val's just spending and spending! Oh we talked about some of the videos that Chen sent me to watch. The Edison Chen one is super funny! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmTuSSs6jtU And we were LOLS at Mos. Haha.
Anyway, initially we wanted to sit at Mos for the rest of the day. However, alot of people are waiting, thus don't really want to hog the seats. So we decided to just do some window shopping around J8. Surprisingly there are lots of shops on sale! However, we need to cut down on budget. Both Chen and I have sort of overspend. Haiz. But the things there were really nice! Some are quite worth it. Like after sale, it's less than $30. A worth buy. We were still shopping for shoes at BHG at 9.30pm. Chen was really into DMK brand of shoes. Tried several, was really comfortable. And it didn't 'bite'. However, in the end we didn't buy. It was really late and there was no promoter there already! HAHA~ All of them have went home. So we just walked back home and took some random photos at the station cause suddenly realise that we have yet to take photos! Took about 8 photos or so, deleted some, omitted some and saved the rest :)
On the way back home bought tako balls at the pasamalam. Thought J8 got TakoPoachi which is definitely nicer than street tako, but still bought it at pasamalam since from J8 to home, the tako balls would already have become cold and untasteful. I finally have my hot chocolate drink too! It takes about 5 teaspoons to have the same sweetness as the 7-eleven one(the instructions say 3teaspoons!). However, I find that the cocoa powder smell is heavier for the Calbury kind. Maybe I shall try another brand next time.
Ok, was abit rush. So just took some random slip-shot photos at the station. Quite paiseh you know. With so many people walking about. We hide at one corner and take. Haha!
Chen say like this very cool. Haha. Half the face. But I think if photoshop put together even cooler!
Chen commented that this one like scolding bad words. Hahaha~
Joan said that Chen and me look alike. After taking this picture, Chen admitted! Like sisters! Though I think I looked much cuter and cooler and prettier and younger! HAHA~
10:55 PM
Woke up just in time for the auto driving lesson today. But no time for breakfast though. Anyway, it's okay since I don't really have the habit of eating breakfast. I felt so weird sitting in an auto car. But it feels so much bigger than a manual car. Oh, by the way, manual cars in SSDC are mostly honda city while auto cars are honda civic. Learnt about the different gears in auto: P-Parking, R-Reverse, N-Neutral, D-Driving. In addition to these basic gears, there are 3 gears which the instructor says we will not use them so frequently- DD3,2 and 1. It's more for going up and down steep slopes. In Singapore, just D is enough. The instructor today was the most talkative and engageful among all my instructors. He kept asking me why is it that his daughter's photo was unable to be uploaded on Imesh. And I told him that perhaps the format of the photo is not supported. So ask him to download a software. Well, our talk mostly revolves around computers related stuff. Not that I'm real good in it. And he mentioned about this software that allowed him to track down the activities of his daughter and son. Sort of like a spying device that allowed him to see what his children are using the laptop for. It's so high tech that he says it's like a video being played and he just has to sit back an relax and look at the screen while the mouse move on its own, showing him what did his daughter do using the laptop. He also mentioned about the time when his son and daughter lied to him. Blah blah blah. Shall not keep talking about this. sounds bit boring to me. Lol.
Anyway, after driving auto car, I realised that it's so much more easier than manual! And it must be so much more easier to pass! There's no half-clutch control of speed, no gear changing, no need to use engine brake that much. Well, all in all, if u fail auto practical test, means you do not have the basic safety requirements-blind spot checking etc. Because, basically, there's no skill required in driving auto! You just need to tap on the accelerator and VROOM off, slowing down when needed. No gear changing, gear shifting, no vibration of car, no biting point- which all requires skill and experience and good sense of feel. But I still enjoy driving auto. The journey's much more smoother. Although, driving manual car gives me this feeling of challenge and excitement. Auto, on the other hand, is much more boring and plain.
After my final and last lesson, wanted to book a driving test date. However, I realise, there must be something wrong with the system, that there's no test dates in August, September, November, December! Went down to use the internet kisiok at the counter to check. It seems only to be able to display 3 test dates. So went over to the customer service officer to enquire about any free slots. He told me irrelevant stuff. What's with "you know which time to book is the best right?","Ya, 1015, no learning cars on the circuit, go out drive 10-20minutes come back, no working rush hours, no bus lane..." Of course I knew about this! I just wish to ask whether there is any way I can check when's the next test date available! Finally he answered me that he's not really sure about it and aske me to go home and check the page regularly. When they set the date, grab the 1015 slot. Ok I know. But he's quite nice and friendly though, despite NAQ. So I thanked him, boarded a bus to Northpoint to get my lunch.
Managed to change my UOB online banking password! Finally. Went to cold storage first to get my hot chocolate. Hmm.. I didn't realise that there are so many different brands for hot chocolate drink! Initially, I held onto a Nestle's one. However, spotted another brand(can't remember) that is so much cheaper than the Nestle's. The Nestle's costs $10+ which is abit expensive while the other one costs about $8+. Continue to view the shelf and spotted another brand. This one is Calbury. Hmm.. I think I heard about this brand somewhere. Anyway, it's much cheaper. There were 3 different packaging. I bought the bottle one. 400g about $8plus too. Though there is one 250g only $4plus. However, the bottle one looked so much cooler and seemed nicer to drink. Anyway, I continued to browse the shelf and find this brand-Abundant Earth. The chocolate powder costs $10+ for a small amount!(Didn't check the weight) But, on closer look, it's organic cocoa powder. I'm still not so class to drink organic drinks yet. So I guess I'll just try this Calbury brand first. Paid at the counter and found out that it only costs $5.80! That's quite a good bargain. Bought my lunch , although there's no curry rice sold at the food court, only green curry chicken and curry chicken noodles. Abit disappointing. Bought a baked cheese rice instead. Not really nice, I should say for the cheese. Can't really taste the cheesy smell. The rice was nice though. It was well fried. Anyway, I felt damn full now. So I guess $6 for this food is okay. Though now that I think of it, it was abit costly.
Have yet to open it and try it yet. The weather felt humid when I got home so I gotten myself a cup of coke instead. Shall try this at night when it's more cooling. Hope that it is nice. Otherwise there goes my $5.80.

Woke up considerably early today and I realised that I got tons of things to do that I've forgotten! And they just sort of rushed into my mind today when I woke up! Okay, first of all, I got my last auto driving lesson tomorrow. After that I can go and book a driving test date and fulfil one of my wish list! =) However, I realise that I got this tea ceremony conducted by NUS Faculty of Science tomorrow and it starts from 9am in the morning, all the way to 5pm! And for goodness sake, my driving lesson is at 10.30am! ZOMG! So i guess I'll have to ask Susan about them tomorrow night. And that's not the worst. Because I can still rush to NUS tomorrow after my driving to catch the statistics lecture about their modules, BUT, I remember we're celebrating HuiYi's birthday tomorrow. Originally it's supposed to be on Saturday. But that stupid Joy, lazy to go out on Saturday, so SPECIALLY rearrange on Friday instead. And initially is go Sentosa then maybe after that clubbing. But Nicole can't move alot as she just had an operation. So taking into consideration that she does not want to die early, and I do not want blood to start spilling from her wounds halfway playing volleyball on the beach, we change our activity to going to MINDS cafe. Ok, digress for quite abit. So in the end, I decided to do some research about the modules online. I've just finish browsing through some of the core things that I need to know about CORS and favourited several useful websites for more thorough reading and browsing later. However, I'm still pondering whether should I go for the talk or not. I'm afraid that I'll miss out on important notes about the bidding system. Hmm.. But past experience tells me that the talks are all that will regurgitate from what we can find and read from the website. Anyway, I'll just sms Susan later to see how it goes.
Ok, the next thing that I remembered when I woke up was that I've got to go NUS (again) next Monday for registration! And just yesterday, Darren mentioned that he can't go back school on Friday(initially was today but Ms Tay will not be in school) and instead can only make it on either Monday or Tuesday next week just before his hall orientation. And now, Monday is out as I got to go for the damn registration thing and after that meet HuiYi to shop. So I guess only Tuesday is available and I have yet to sms Ms Tay to tell her that we can't make it tomorrow. Sure tell her later since my phone's charging now and I'm feeling kind of lazy to get up.
My stoamch has been hurting since just now. I guess it's the stress from remembering I got so much things undone and have to be done. Grr..
And dad's home today. Haiz. Initially I was thinking of going to NorthPoint. Because, last night just before I sleep, I just have this urge to eat curry rice. So I was thinking of going to NorthPoint to buy, since the coffee shops near my house probably don't have it. Then, at the same time, I can visit the Cold Storage there to look for my hot chocolate package drinks! But by the time I woke up, dad has already bought my lunch.
But at least there's one thing worth cheering up for. I received my OCBC tuition fee loan and it has been approved! In addition, I also gotten my UOB campus card pin number! I can finally go and change that darn password that I've forgotten which resulted in freezing of my account. And just yesterday, my card nearly got eaten by the ATM machine because I keyed in the wrong pin twice! I was glad that I stopped trying the third time because I couldn't remember keying in a pin number for my card during registering for it. And it'll be a really bad day for me should the card be eaten just one day I received it! Oh, and it's a really cool looking card. Although there's only a small amount of money in it (cant' say how much though! It's a really small compared to my other 2cards). So I guess I'll just reset the password tomorrow for my ebanking while going down for my driving lesson.
This is the Campus UOB Visa card which I said that is super duper cool looking. Anyway, the card numbers have all been 'erased' for protection. Although without the numbers it looks less cool. Haha.
Oh you'll have notice that I've yet to sign on the card. Abit bu she de. Haha~ Cause it looks really nice this way. Oh and this is a debit card that is free! Requirements are you must be an undergraduate at one of the local universities. That's the minimum requirement. After you graduate, they'll just change it into another account- i-account and the card they give you will be the OnePlus UOB Mastercard (I think).
Though this is just a normal ATM card, but I just erased the card number in case. You never know cards theieves are getting cleverer day by day. Anyway, this is the first ATM card I've gotten. And this is the card that I usually use for spendings. So I wanted to change this into a debit card instead of applying for a UOB one. However, I realise that OCBC student debit cards are only for NTU students. NUS student debit card is issued by DBS. So it's a pity then.
Oh and since it's an ATM card, there's no need to put any signature on it, right?
This is the POSB GO! card. Mind you, it's no pronounce as 'GO', but 'G-O'. Because I've always thought that it is GO! until I apply for the card and the counter assistant pronounce it as 'G-O'. Although I still find 'GO' nicer. Oh right, anyway, initially it was just a normal POSB ATM card. I just changed it into a debit-cum-ATM card last Monday. Well, I guess because it looks more professional and has my name there! Anyway, the function is the same as an ATM card. Just that I pay using my signature instead of pin. All other functions remain the same. Oh and when I apply for this card, they cut my ATM card! My heart hurts abit as the card was quite new(I just got it at the beginning of this year), however, my mind is set. And at the same time I applied for ibanking, so it'll be more convenient for me to make payments online, especially signing up for Runs and Marathons(I just got this urge to join each and every marathons held this year, perhaps due to boredom). But I guess I'll not use this card as often as my OCBC card, which is my spending card. And as I've mentioned there is this NUS DBS debit card. I wanted to apply for that instead. However, the procedure for applying is such a hassle that I gave up and instead apply for this GO! card.
Oh as I've mentioned, this is a signature-based card, so I'll have to erase my signature on it.
By the way, as I was posting this, I was also browsing through for tuition assignments. And I've been looking for one for near 2weeks! I found one, sms the person and she called me immediately! She says that my rate was too high- $27/h for an upper secondary student and that's the rate more for a graduate rather than an undergraduate. Is it true? But $25/h for an undergraduate is really too low! Anyway, she say she'll confirm with me later as she'll call the parent to discuss. Maybe I can get the job? It's teaching E-maths and combined Bio/Chem and I scored A1 for pure Bio and E-maths, A2 for pure Chem. Well, what more can you expect? It's such a good bargain! And for $25/h only! I think if the parent is okay, I will not mind taking the job up. Because $200 a month is already good enough. Can't ask for more I guess.

Finally, I've bought my hot chocolate and drinking it while typing this post. Ok. Getting this hot chocolate was a tedious one. I made 2 trips to get this hot chocolate. The reason for wanting to drink hot chocolate was because I was watching Forensic Heroes 2 and the Madam Ma(Charmaine Sheh) was drinking it. And it just suddenly tempts me, haha~ Ok, the second trip was made because I brought 20cents lesser down to 7-eleven. -.- Although it was just one block away, I still find it a hassle to travel back and fro. And can you believe it? $2.20 for a cup of 22oz hot chocolate! In the show, Charmaine Sheh bought it for HK$5. Wonder how much is that is in SingDollars after conversion. Hope that there is those packet kind one. Then I can just make at home. Cheaper also. Hmm.. I guess I'll just make a trip down to NTUC tomorrow to see whether there are any package kind of hot chocolate drink. But I doubt so. Anyway, I'm glad that I'm now having my hot chocolate. And this is a photo of the hot chocolate I bought. :)
Just now while walking to the 7-eleven, I suddenly have the urge to go jogging. Yes, I know that it is 1045, however, perhaps the weather was nice, the breeze cooling. And, speaking of jogging, the last time I jogged was last Tuesday with Evan and Rachel. With less than a month away to the Army Half Marathon, and so much free time, I know that I should start my training. However, I hate to make the first step out of my cosy home , leaving my favourite lappy at home. And speaking of this, I just realise that whenever I go out, I'll always be tempted to bring along my laptop. Anyway, back to the topic, I really need to start jogging. Okay, tomorrow, I'll go for a jog just before dinner! Haha~
Anyway, in 10minutes time, I'm going to watch the eclipse thing on Channel U. Hmm.. not that I'm really interested in it, but since the television is just right infront of me, it will not hurt to take a look. Now super noisy around me. In addition to the noise from the television, the music from my Windows Media Player, there's still that irritating lift beeping sound. Speaking of the lift, it really brought about convenience as well as trouble. Ok, it's convenient as the lift is now just right infront of my doorstep, it just takes less than a 10metre walk to reach it instead of in the past, I still got to climb up a stairs, walk about 15metres to the lift at the 11th storey. The inconvenience is that the renovation started last year, just as I was having my A'Levels. And it took like nearly a year to finish up. So about one ,month ago, it's finally up and running. but, the noise from the lift is really... ... irritating. Whenever it closes and opens, it'll have this "beep beep beep" sound. Grrr... And it's still in the trial period. It is out of service whenever there is a thunderstorm and just this morning, for no ever reason, it is out of service again.
Ok the eclipse show has started. i shall end this post here, though a bit abrupt and random. LOL

I think this is the number 4 blog that I've started. The first blog that I set up was because blogs were the 'in' thing then. However, I soon get sick of it and can't really remember the blog name. The second blog, well it's actually multiply blog that YTSS english department wanted us to blog on. Then the third blog was actually the blogger that my gp teacher wanted us to post and argue about topics. But was another failure too. Cause after 1 or 2 posts nobody bother to argue there and even the teacher stop going online to comment on them. The last blog, well was this. Hope this will really last. I set up this blog because of boredom. I was really bored after my work ended in June.
Actually I don't really like blogs. It's more like an online forum than an online journal. Because, frankly speaking, I doubt any one will post their real feelings and thoughts online. Maybe resentful feelings yes, but truthful feelings and thoughts, no. Thus, I'll prefer a hand-written journal more. Although I've kept journals in the past, and had already written about 3 whole journal books, I still think that an online blog is more appropriate to write about my daily events as it is so much faster and convenient- I'm almost online everyday. Still, hand-written journals are better, but I've stopped writing them since Secondary 2. And I doubt I'll have time to write when university life starts. A blog is much more, convenient I guess. hmmm...
